In preparation for this letter I thought about what I wanted each individual who visits our website to know about our company, including our past, present and future. Our history is simple. Thirty years ago Apple's president and owner Brian Foley embarked on a mission to change the culture of nursing homes. He had a vision of a rehab company that would give each resident the care and respect they deserve in a compassionate and caring environment. His vision has become our reality.
Apple Rehab is privately-held and locally owned, meaning that unlike other providers who must operate to serve their stockholders, Apple, in contrast, is able to serve its patients and family members first. With 25 Centers in two states, Apple is large enough to offer a full spectrum of health and rehabilitation services and small enough to ensure quality management from the corporate headquarters in Avon, Connecticut.
